If neither the fan or compressor operate: -Check to see that power is getting to the unit. -Check transformer -Check low voltage junction box -Check compressor contactor -Check low and high pressure switches, if used.
If fan operates but compressor does not -Check wiring to compressor -Check voltage to unit -Check for open internal overload at compressor
If compressor hums but will not start -Check compressor contactor -Check wiring to compressor -Check compressor -Check hard start components, if used
If unit runs but will not produce sufficient cooling -Check system pressures
