Dear Mr. Moore:
Your company surely gave us good service the last week in June. As your record will show the Amana air conditioning system you installed new in my house six months before stopped working.
Your mechanic, Rick Henderson, came to diagnose the problem, after he had worked in the heat all day -- and he made an appointment with me to install a new circuit board on the unit on Friday, June 30.
The hot day came and went. About 5:00 pm or so -- after usual working hours -- I called your company. To my great surprise you answered the telephone promptly with a voice, not an after hours recording, and I was assured, even at that late time, that, yes, I was on Rick's list; yes, someone else was scheduled ahead of me -- but yes, Rick would come.
He did. Rick Henderson came about six or six-thirty pm. Such quiet, capable, steady workmanship, under difficult conditions: the heat -- the necessity of re-running twenty feet of control wire to the unit through a very hot attic, the long working hours.
The service was outstanding -- not the "norm". And the unit is cooling now, thanks to Rick Henderson and the Arvell Moore Company.
